What this is

inmycalendar is a free planning tool: a daily board joined to a multi-year calendar, with public holiday dates for 247 countries. Using it means accepting what is on this page. If you do not accept it, do not use the site.

There is no charge, no subscription and no trial. If that ever changes, it will be announced on this page and on Contact before it takes effect, and it will not apply retroactively to anything you have already done.

Your board belongs to you

Everything you write - tasks, day notes, countdowns, colours - is yours. No ownership of it is claimed, it is not sold or shared, and it is not used to train anything. Privacy sets out exactly what is stored and where.

Export and Backup in the footer give you your own copy in a normal file format at any time, without asking anyone. You are encouraged to use them.

Accounts

An account is optional and exists for one purpose: syncing your board across your devices. The tool works the same without one.

You are responsible for the email account or sign-in provider you use to get in. If someone else can read your email, they can sign in as you.

You can delete your account and everything on it yourself, at any time, from the account panel under your initials. It is immediate and cannot be undone. An account may also be removed if it is used for the things listed under Acceptable use below.

The public holiday dates are for information only

Holiday dates are compiled from public sources and are provided as a convenience. They will sometimes be wrong. Governments move holidays, declare new ones at short notice, and observe them differently by region, by religion and by employer. Dates that depend on a lunar calendar or a moon sighting are especially likely to shift.

Do not use these dates as the basis for anything that matters - booking non-refundable travel, planning payroll, calculating notice periods, meeting a filing deadline, or any legal or employment decision. Check the official source for the country concerned. No responsibility is accepted for a date being wrong, missing or out of date.

Availability

This is a free tool run by one person. It is provided as-is and as-available, with no guarantee that it will be online, that sync will succeed, or that any particular feature will keep existing. It may be changed, interrupted or discontinued at any time.

Your board is stored in your browser's local storage, which the browser itself can clear - when it is short of space, in private windows, or when you clear site data. That is a normal browser behaviour, not a fault of this site, and it is why Backup exists.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to store or distribute anything unlawful, to attempt to reach another person's account or data, to probe or overload the service, to scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or to present it as your own product.

Automated access that is polite and low-volume is fine. Anything that affects other people's use of the site is not.

Other people's material, and ours

The name, wording, design and code of the site belong to its author. The source is published so it can be read and audited, which is worth doing for a tool that holds your data, but it is not open source: you may read it and learn from it, and you may not host, redistribute or sell it without asking. The public holiday data is compiled from public sources; the dates themselves are facts and nobody owns them. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts and sign-in is handled by Supabase, each under their own terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for lost data, missed deadlines, lost profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from using this site - including from a holiday date being wrong or the service being unavailable. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be noted here before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means accepting the updated version.
